StoryTrail is designed to get kids outside, moving, and curious. But we know that trust matters. Here's what you should know:
Stories are AI-generated and age-appropriate
Every story is created using AI based on your child's age (4-12), interests, and the specific trail you choose. We've built safety guardrails into the system to ensure stories are positive, educational, and appropriate. No scary content, no inappropriate themes—just adventure, nature, and learning.
Photos stay private
Kids can take photos during their adventure to complete challenges (like finding a leaf or spotting a bird). Those photos are stored securely and are never shared publicly. They're just for your family's personal story experience. We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
Designed for supervised family use
StoryTrail is meant to be used together. Parents should accompany kids on trails, especially for younger children. The app helps guide the adventure, but you're in charge of safety, navigation, and the real-world experience.
Important: Please ensure trails are appropriate for your child's age and ability. Check weather, trail conditions, and have proper gear. StoryTrail provides the story—you provide the safety.
Privacy and data protection
We take privacy seriously. Here's what we do:
- No data selling: We don't sell or share your personal information with third parties.
- Secure storage: Photos and user data are stored securely using industry-standard practices.
- Minimal data collection: We only collect what's needed to create and deliver stories.
- Optional emails: You can provide an email for feedback or account features, but it's not required for basic use.
